Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “The liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories is one of the most important issues for Turkey,” Speaker of the Grand National Assembly (Parliament) of Turkey Cemil Çiçek said at the 5th plenary meeting of TURKPA, APA reports.
Çiçek said a lasting peace can be ensured in Caucasus only after the occupation comes to an end and more than one million people return to their homeland: “In order to protect Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity TURKPA should take a tough stance on the Armenian occupation. Everyone should know that this issue will be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Turkey always raises the immediate liberation of the Azerbaijan’s occupied territories in the international arena. The liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories is one of the most important issues for Turkey”.
