Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Azerbaijan is planning to bring to criminal liability those who are engaged in the purchase and sale of products without excise stamps. In this regard, amendments were proposed to Article 213-1 of the Criminal Code, the parliament told APA on Oct.17.
The article envisages a fine of 2,000-3,000 manats, a sentence of correctional labor up to one year or imprisonment up to two years with confiscation of property.
A draft amendment will be discussed at the parliamentary session on Oct.20.
