Azerbaijani Parliament told APA that the draft law that is expected to be put up for discussion at the request of a group of parliamentarians will ban wearing masks or veils during rallies.
According to the draft law, it is banned to use masks or veils along with a number prohibited special tools during holiday events and mourning, religious ceremonies, meetings, rallies, demonstrations, street processions, pickets.
It has also been proposed to annex a special article to the Code of Administrative Offences in this regard. The draft law is expected to be put up for discussion at the spring session of the Parliament.
