The Kremlin positively assesses the Russian delegation's meeting with Melania Trump in Washington, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
He said that Russia's humanitarian and political contacts with the United States complement each other perfectly.
It should be noted that a meeting was held yesterday at the White House between US First Lady Melania Trump and a Russian delegation regarding the peacekeeping mission in the city of Aleshki. The meeting was attended by Russian Ombudsman Yana Lantratova and Russian Presidential Special Representative Kirill Dmitriev.
The Kremlin spokesperson emphasized that Melania Trump and her team had made significant efforts to carry out the humanitarian operation in Aleshki.
Peskov also noted that Kirill Dmitriev had not yet returned from the United States and had not informed Putin about the results of his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
