British television broadcaster Sky has announced that it has received a security threat, Reuters reports.
The broadcaster issued a statement regarding the incident.
According to the statement, Sky is one of several media organizations that have received information about a threat. The threat has been assessed, and the relevant authorities have been informed.
"The safety of our employees is our top priority. We are working closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of our staff and operations," the statement said.
The incident occurred just hours after the building of Ireland's public broadcaster RTÉ was evacuated following a bomb threat. The offices of several other media organizations in Ireland were also evacuated due to threats.
