Azerbaijan announces list of medicines to be given to patients free of charge - <span style="color: red;">LIST  - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE

Funds have been allocated from the state budget to provide free medicines to certain types of patients on 10 state programs - “Action Program on the provision of oncological patients with basic anti-tumor medicines”, “State Program on hereditary diseases - hemophilia and thalassemia”, “Action Program on chronic renal failure”, “Action Program on immunologic prophylaxis of infectious diseases”, “State Program on the development of blood donation, blood components and blood services”, “State Program on diabetes mellitus”, “HIV / AIDS prevention and control in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “Action Program on combating tuberculosis”, “Rules of financing examination and treatment of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis at public health facilities”, “Size and Quality standards of medical assistance to be provided to multiple sclerosis patients” and “State Program on the protection of maternal and child health”.

 

According to the Action Program on the provision of oncological patients with basic anti-tumor medicines, 229 types of drugs and medications are provided to oncological patients free of charge (Table 1).

 

According to the State Program on hereditary diseases - hemophilia and thalassemia, 17 types of medicines and medical supplies, as well as 702 reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 2).

 

According to the Action Program on chronic renal failure, 60 types of medicines and medical supplies, as well as 13 types of medicines for hemodialysis, 10 for peritoneal dialysis, 130 reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 3).

 

According to the Action Program on immunologic prophylaxis of infectious diseases, 12 types of medicines and medical supplies are provided to patients free of charge (Table 4).

 

According to the State Program on the development of blood donation, blood components and blood services, 11 types of medicines and medical supplies, as well as 28 types of reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 5).

 

According to the State Program on diabetes mellitus, 19 types of medicines and medical supplies are provided to patients free of charge (Table 6).

 

According to HIV / AIDS prevention and control in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 22 types of medicines and medical supplies, well as 25 types of reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 7).

 

 

According to the Action Program on combating tuberculosis, 27 types of medicines and medical supplies, as well as 59 types of reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 8).

 

According to the Rules of financing examination and treatment of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis at public health facilities, 35 types of medicines and medical supplies as well as 14 types of reagents and laboratory equipment are provided to patients free of charge (Table 9).

 

According to the State Program on the protection of maternal and child health, 20 types of medicines and medical supplies are provided to patients free of charge (Table 10).

 

Patients belonging to privileged groups and who are treated in stationary medical institutions of Azerbaijan are provided with free medications and medical supplies. All the patients being treated in stationary medical institutions are provided with 166 types of medicines and the patients belonging to various privileged groups are given 99 types medicines free of charge.
