Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has amended the “List of documents for determining individuals’ eligibility for tax benefits when calculating tax withheld from wages,” APA reports.
According to the decision, the list now includes parents, widows or widowers, and children of deminers who were killed in accidents caused by the detonation of explosive ordnance while carrying out demining activities, or who later died from injuries sustained in such incidents.
The following documents will be required to qualify for the benefit:
A certificate from the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA);
A certificate from the local body of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan or from a DOST center;
Certificates from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
