The exhibition "The World Through a Child's Eyes" has been organized as part of the World Summit titled "Investing in Children's Well-Being: Towards Sustainable and Equitable Development for Future Generations," held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, APA reports.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva visited the exhibition on October 22.
It should be noted that the exhibition is dedicated to reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in the fields of maternal and child healthcare, education, rehabilitation, inclusivity, and the protection of children's rights.
The exhibition consists of 13 thematic sections and interactive zones covering the stages of a child's development from birth to independent life. It presents efforts undertaken in the areas of early childhood healthcare, social support for families, rehabilitation services, inclusive education, and ensuring children's rights.
Leyla Aliyeva then visited the Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex.
Leyla Aliyeva was informed about the modern complex established to study and promote the scholarly heritage of Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari (810–870), one of the prominent scholars of the Islamic world and one of the most influential figures in the science of hadith.
It was noted that following extensive reconstruction work, the complex has become an important spiritual, educational, and tourism center. Necessary conditions have been created for receiving pilgrims and foreign tourists, as well as for studying the cultural and scientific heritage of Islam.
