Russian peacekeepers involve additional manpower and equipment in the area where a protest action is held in Shusha against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Karabakh, APA reports.

Action participants are protesting against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the illegal exploitation of Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, and expressed strong objection to the fact that the Armenian separatists did not allow the monitoring on December 10 and for not taking the necessary measures in this regard, they demand that the commander of the Russian peacekeepers, Andrey Volkov, come to the meeting.

Non-governmental organizations specializing in the ecological sphere of Azerbaijan are holding a protest action in Shusha against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA's correspondent sent to Shusha reports.

Participants of the action are protesting the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Gizilbulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, and demand that conditions be created by Russian peacekeepers for the monitoring of those deposits by the team of specialists of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy "AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company.

Action participants strongly objected that Armenian separatists did not allow the monitoring on December 10, and a meeting with the commander of the Russian peacekeepers, Andrey Volkov, was requested not to take the necessary measures in this regard.
