Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has not signed documents on sending Patriot and NASAMS missiles for air defense systems to Ukraine for more than a month, APA reports.
"We have been awaiting Mr. Hegseth's signature on missiles for "Patriots" and "NASAMS." I have instructed to discuss this once again with the American side," the Ukrainian President noted on his Telegram channel.
Zelenskyy emphasized that he had instructed the resumption of talks with the US side on the issue.
Note that Patriot and NASAMS are important components of Ukraine's air defense system. These systems are used to protect the country's airspace and counter missiles and other aerial threats.
