"Georgia has a long-standing strategic partnership and excellent relations with neighboring Azerbaijan," Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili said during a panel discussion at the Sofia Economic Forum, APA's local bureau reports.
She noted that Georgia is strengthening its partnerships with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which is reflected in relations at the strategic level.
The Foreign Minister stated that the Middle Corridor has great potential in terms of connecting different regions.
"If we want to turn the Middle Corridor into a competitive route, we must assess its potential and advantages. For Georgia, as one of the countries playing an important role in the development of the Middle Corridor, deepening partnerships is a priority. This is precisely the area in which we are investing. Political dialogue with partners is also very important for the development of the Middle Corridor," Maka Botchorishvili added.
