A media tour was organized to Azerbaijan's Fuzuli district, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.
Media representatives first visited the Kondalanchay water reservoir complex in Fuzuli, which was inaugurated by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev a few days ago.
The media representatives were informed that repair and restoration works have been carried out at the Kondalanchay-1 reservoir, located along the Kondalanchay River in Fuzuli district, with a total water capacity of 3.9 million cubic meters (usable volume of 3.6 million cubic meters) and a height of 14 meters, which was commissioned in 1962 and Kondalanchay-2 reservoir, operational since 1951, with a total water capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters (usable volume of 1.6 million cubic meters) and a height of 23.35 meters.
Employee of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency Atakishi Babayev noted that the goal is to bring the facilities and mechanical equipment of the dam to a stable operating mode and create a normal condition for further operation.
