Russia’s embassy in Tehran has denied reports that Russian diplomats and specialists are leaving Iran, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
In a statement, the embassy said it was aware of reports circulated by certain media outlets it described as biased, alleging the evacuation of embassy staff and Russian specialists working at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
“Neither embassy employees nor Russian specialists working at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant are leaving Iran,” the statement said.
The embassy stressed that operations were continuing as usual.
“Reports claiming otherwise are untrue, and their origin is entirely clear,” it added.
