A meeting was held between Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Türkiye's Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan within the framework of the international forum "SOCGOV 2026: Digital Analytics for Smart Governance" held in Khankendi.

It was reported that the meeting discussed the importance of the SOCGOV 2026 forum organized by the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. It was emphasized that the forum is also an important platform for exchanging advanced international experience in the development of social services based on digital analytics and the application of smart governance models.
Information was provided on the achievements made in the digitalization of social services and the establishment of proactive mechanisms within the framework of social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years. The significant advantages brought by digital transformation to this field were discussed.
The work carried out on the cooperation agenda between the two ministries was reviewed, and the importance of ensuring the continuity of mutually beneficial exchanges of experience and information was emphasized.
Anar Aliyev also met with Sirojiddin Abdullayev, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan.
The reforms implemented in the field of social protection in both countries in recent years, the expansion of digital services, and the work carried out to introduce innovative solutions were discussed. It was noted that successful cooperation had been established between the Ministry and the Agency, and active exchanges of experience were being carried out.
The meeting continued with discussions on future cooperation in the field of social protection.
