Preserving the Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood and strengthening solidarity between the two nations holds strategic importance for the shared future of the entire Turkic world, Devlet Bahçeli, Chairman of Türkiye's Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), said during a meeting with Rashad Aslanov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, APA's bureau in Türkiye reports.

The diplomat conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev to Devlet Bahçeli and expressed the head of state’s gratitude for his support in upholding the Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood.
In turn, Devlet Bahçeli asked that his greetings be conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev and emphasized that he stands firmly with Azerbaijan.
The MHP Chairman noted the importance of further consolidating the solidarity between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
He expressed his confidence that relations between the two countries would continue to develop based on the principles of mutual respect, equal partnership, trust, and brotherhood.
