The official opening ceremony of the Olive Festival was held the Baku Seaside Boulevard on October 24, APA reports.
Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Anar Alakbarov, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev, and Chairman of the Board of the Seaside Boulevard Administration Khanlar Aghalarov familiarized themselves with the pavilions at the festival.
The festival, running until October 25, showcases olives and olive oil products, giving visitors the opportunity to discover different brands and explore new flavours.
The main goal of the festival is to promote Azerbaijan's ancient olive-growing traditions, introduce and support local producers, as well as contribute to the formation of a national brand in this field.
The festival is organized with the support of the State Tourism Agency and the Seaside Boulevard Administration, and sponsored by “Absheron Olive Gardens” and “Olivea” olive products.
