The US administration has ordered a group of employees at its embassy in Riyadh and their family members to leave Saudi Arabia amid continuing Houthi attacks.
APA reports, citing AFP’s diplomatic sources, that the decision was made on October 22.
Family members of staff at US embassies in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Qatar and Bahrain have reportedly received similar instructions.
US State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott confirmed the decision.
