"One patient who was brought to Azerbaijan after the plane crash will undergo osteosynthesis surgery tomorrow," Eldar Ahmadov, deputy director of Yeni Klinika (New Clinic), said in an interview with journalists, APA reports.
The doctor explained that around 7 PM the previous day, 14 patients were admitted to the clinic: "When the patients arrived, a neuro-surgical and trauma team was already on standby. Among the patients receiving treatment at 'Yeni Klinika,' one patient's condition is currently severe, and another's condition is moderately severe. The patients have various blunt force traumas, bone fractures, and one patient has been diagnosed with an open compound fracture of the shin bone. Tomorrow, one of the patients will undergo osteosynthesis surgery."
Note that out of the 14 patients brought to "Yeni Klinika" on December 26, 13 are being treated in regular rooms, while one is in the intensive care unit (ICU).
