An air raid alert has been declared at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the airport's press service.
The use of elevators, remaining on board aircraft as shelter, standing near windows and glass structures, taking photos or videos, and approaching detected UAVs or their fragments have been prohibited at the airport.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin issued a statement about a drone attack on the Russian capital. He said that 19 UAVs flying toward Moscow had been shot down.
Residents of Moscow's western, eastern, and southern districts heard sounds of explosions.
