The bodies of the Zagatala district residents who tragically lost their lives in the plane crash in Aktau have been returned to their families, APA's North-Western bureau reports.

The remains of the Zagatala district residents, Arif Jarayev, born in 1977, a resident of Danachi village, Zagatala; Hajiibrahim Jarayev, born in 1990, a resident of Danachi village, Zagatala; Khizri Jeerov, born in 1981, a resident of Danachi village, Zagatala; Narmina Ididova, born in 1966, a resident of Hoytala village, Zagatala; and Ibrahimkhalil Kostiyev, born in 1996, a resident of Mogov village, Zagatala, who was among those killed in the crash of the "Embraer 190" aircraft, flight number J2-8243, operating the Baku-Grozny route on December 25, have been brought to the district today and handed over to their families.

Currently, farewell ceremonies are being held for the victims, and after the ceremonies, the deceased will be laid to rest in the cemeteries of their respective villages.

It is worth noting that, out of the passengers on the plane involved in the crash in Aktau, 10 were from Zagatala district. Five of them tragically lost their lives at the scene. ring the plane crash, 5 residents of the Danachi village of the Zagatala region - Salihat Jeerova, born in 2008, Nurullah Sirajov, born in 1953, Muslimat Sirajova, born in 1957, Nizami Jalilov, born in 2007, and Mahir Jarayev, born in 1988, received various degrees of bodily injuries.
