A 7-day holiday in Azerbaijan begins today, APA reports.
By the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the places of work and rest days have been changed. According to the decision, to ensure the consistency of working and rest days, the places of working days on December 30, 2024, and January 3, 2025, and the places of rest days on December 28 and 29, 2024, respectively, have been changed.
World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day - December 31, and New Year's Day - January 1 and 2 are non-working days. Next year, January 4 and 5 fall on Saturday and Sunday. Thus, one week in a row - December 30 and December 31, 2024, January 1, January 2, January 3, January 4 and January 5, 2025 will be non-working days.
