"Results of coronavirus tests should be submitted within at least 6-7 hours after samples are delivered to the laboratory", said specialist of the Representation of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan Javahir Suleymanova, APA reports.
According to her, very unique system, regarding the conduction of tests, has been established in Azerbaijan: “Samples, taken from people with Emergency Medical Assistance vehicles, are delivered to laboratories. It protects people from more dangerous situations. In this case, if the person is not infected with the virus, not going to hospital, avoiding dangerous places protects the person. Sometimes the vast amount of samples can cause extension of the period.”
J. Suleymanova said there are also express tets at the moment: “These tests will be used in Azerbaijan too regarding detection of the coronavirus. It is possible to carry out examination within 45 minutes through these tests.”
