US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the G20 summit, scheduled to take place near Miami in December, APA reports.
Trump made the statement to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
Asked whether Zelensky would be invited to the summit, the US President responded positively.
"Yes, there is no problem with that," he said.
Trump also expressed his belief that the war between Russia and Ukraine would end in the near future.
"I believe the war between Ukraine and Russia will end in the not-too-distant future," the US leader emphasized.
