Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Türkiye, APA reports.
He made the remarks during an interview with CNN Türk.
Zelenskyy said he hoped Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would help organize talks with Putin.
According to the Ukrainian leader, some issues can only be discussed at the level of heads of state, as delegations and technical teams cannot resolve all matters.
"That is why I want to meet with him as the person who makes decisions," Zelenskyy stated.
It should be noted that Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Kremlin leader, previously stated that Zelenskyy could come to Moscow for talks.
