Bogdan Święczkowski, who has been suspended from his duties as president of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal, and his deputy Bartłomiej Sochański have been barred from entering the court building, PAP news agency reports.
The decision was made by Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, who declared that she had temporarily assumed leadership of the court.
The decision states that Święczkowski and Sochański are not allowed to enter the court building. Other judges must agree in advance on the timing and conditions of their access to the building.
According to local media, Święczkowski attempted to enter the Constitutional Tribunal building during protests on October 31 but was unsuccessful.
It should be noted that a political and legal confrontation over the leadership of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal continues. President Karol Nawrocki considers the change in the court's leadership illegal, while Prime Minister Donald Tusk links these measures to the restoration of the rule of law.
