"The coronavirus cases supposedly reached its peak on April 9, and then started to decline”, said Hande Harmanci, the WHO representative in Azerbaijan at the virtual press conference of the World Health Organization, APA reports.
“Thanks to the works done, the number of patients is decreasing. But this number can increase again. I hope that the decline will continue. But as far as the quarantine lightens, the number of patients will increase again. This virus hasn’t extinguished in the country. It is very important to continue until the end of the year the application of the hand washing procedure. Although currently number of tests has increased as a result of the physical isolation, the number of coronavirus cases has decreased. As far as the number of tests increases, the number of detected coronavirus cases decreases, and this raises our hopes. But further strengthening and improvement of public health systems is one of our most important activities currently".
