Forum of Azerbaijani Students of Europe is held in London with Azercellâ€™s support

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva â€“ APA-Economics. The Forum of Azerbaijani Students of Europe (FASE) is held in London. It aims to explore the ways of converting the Azerbaijani oil capital into human capital and investment as well as to initiate proposals in this field. This forum organized at the House of Lords of the United Kingdom has taken place with the support of Azercell Telecom LLC.
This event which unites all youth living outside Azerbaijan has seen these speeches made by Lord Fraser, Chairman of Anglo-Azerbaijani society and Mr. Fakhraddin Gurbanov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom. The private sector at the Forum has been represented by Mr. Ali Aghan, deputy-CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Aghan has noted the companyâ€™s satisfaction over investments made by the company for the future generations: â€œI am very pleased to be here and see this enthusiasm in your eyes. The future of Azerbaijan is you, and I wish you not to loose this enthusiasm everâ€.
FASE moderator Ms.Khatira Shykhyeva has thanked Azercell for its support in arranging this Forum and said: â€œWe are very delighted that private businesses invest into human capitalâ€.
During three days of this Forum, along with official speeches, several measures reflecting various elements of the Azerbaijani culture have been undertaken so far. In order to promote the national culture, the concert of Tunzala Aghayeva, the honorary artist has been organized in London with Azercellâ€™s support. In general, almost 100 Azerbaijani students studying in various European countries have participated in the Forum.
The Forum of Azerbaijani Students of Europe (FASE) has been established in 2006 in Brussels. The main goal of the Forum is to appeal to the national youth studying and living abroad not to be indifferent to the issues related to the future of country and build the lobbying work to defend our national interests in the structures of the European Union. So far, FASE meetings have taken place in German Bundestag, the Council of Europe, European Parliament and French Senate.
Azercell Telecom LLC sponsors this meeting of FASE because since first days of its activities in Azerbaijan, the Company attaches a high importance to human capital. In accordance with investment indicator by Azercell into human resources, it became one of the first companies in CIS which received IIP â€“ Investors in People certificate.
