The financing allocated by the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) to SOCAR Trading has reached $70 million as of 2026, Tofig Kocharli, Head of Global Business Development at SOCAR Trading, said at the Business Forum organized within the framework of the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), APA-Economics reports.
"As a result of sharp price fluctuations in the markets in 2020, 2022, and 2026, many companies faced serious difficulties. Under such conditions, cooperation with financial institutions such as the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank is one of the main ways to overcome these challenges. Currently, SOCAR Trading cooperates with more than 40 banks and has trade and structured financing lines worth billions of dollars."
