Armenia does not plan to unilaterally terminate its agreement with Russia on the management of the South Caucasus Railway company, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said while answering journalists' questions at a briefing, Sputnik Armenia reports.

Pashinyan said that Armenia would not change its position on the matter. At the same time, he stressed that he has not withdrawn his earlier remarks on the issue.

According to the Prime Minister, under the current circumstances, Armenia is losing its competitive advantages because the country's railways are managed under a Russian concession.

It should be noted that for several months, the Armenian authorities have been stating that they support transferring the railway management concession to a third party.
