Russian forces carried out a massive overnight strike using long-range precision missiles and drones against military facilities and energy infrastructure in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, the Russian Ministry of Defense said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

According to the ministry, the targets in Kyiv included the Radioniks enterprise, which manufactures control systems for the Flamingo, FP-7, FP-9, and Neptune-MD missiles, as well as the Atlon Avia Research and Production Company, which supplies the Ukrainian military with Lyutyi, Magura UA, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.

The statement said that the Antonov State Enterprise, the main production base for the development and manufacture of manned military aircraft and the assembly of Lyutyi drones, was also struck.

The Kyiv Radio Plant, which manufactures and upgrades sights, guidance devices, and components for reconnaissance and strike drones, as well as electronics for aviation, air defense, and electronic warfare systems, the Kyiv-25 plant, which produces the Lima electronic warfare system, and the MLP-Chaika Transport and Logistics Center, where drones, warheads, ammunition, and imported components are stored, were also among the targets.

The Kyiv-3 fuel and lubricants depot, which supplies diesel fuel to the Kyiv garrison and the combat zone, as well as a gas distribution station supporting military facilities, was also hit.

Russian forces also carried out strikes on military airfield infrastructure in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.

The ministry noted that this was the first massive strike against Ukraine since June 15, when enterprises and military airfields in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk were targeted.
