North-West Regional Center of Ministry of Emergency Situations inaugurated

Bust of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, administrative buildings of Gabala Professional Training Center for Tourism and Hotel Management, 16-flat buildings constructed for Karabakh veterans and martyrsâ€™ families and Gemervan secondary school have been inaugurated in Gabala region today. APAâ€™s local bureau reports that bust of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva has been erected in the park named after the academician. The bust has been unveiled in the region today.

Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov participated in the inauguration of North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The construction of the center began in 2006. The center covers Gobustan, Shamahky, Agsu, Ismayilli, Gabala, Oghuz, Shaki, Gakh, Zagatala, Balaken regions of Azerbaijan. The regional center consists of two offices, 15 departments and rescue unit. The equipment to be used in the center has been made in Germany, France, Japan, Russia, Belarus, Korea and Turkey. The center has 162 personnel and employees.

Minister of Education Misir Mardanov participated in the inauguration of Gabala Professional Training Center for Tourism and Hotel Management. Construction of the center began in 2006. There is a canteen, computer lab, room of foreign language, workshop, hotel, gym in the center. The center has been built at the expenses of the Education Ministry. 13 specialities will be taught in the center. Education Minister also attended the opening ceremony of 360-pupil Gemervan secondary school. The school has been built at the state expenditure. AZN 754,000 has been spent on its construction.

AZN 443,000 has been spent on the construction of 2-storey, 16-flat building for Karabakh veterans and martyrsâ€™ families. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fuzuli Alakbarov participated in the opening of the building.
