All Armenian Cathalicos Garegin II to arrive in Azerbaijan on April 26

Baku â€“ APA. All Armenian Cathalicos Garegin II will arrive in Azerbaijan on April 26 to attend the summit of world religious leaders, APA reports quoting News Armenia. The visit will be realized on the invitation of All Russian and Moscow Patriarch Cyril and Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh. The All Russian and Moscow Patriarch, All Georgian Cathalicos-Patriarch, All Armenian Catahlicos and Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office are expected to hold a quadripartite meeting during the summit. Echmiadzin representative on inter-churches relations bishop Eznik Petrosian and deacon Vagram Melikian will accompany Garegin during his visit to Azerbaijan. Chairman of the National Council of Churches in the USA will also attend the summit. Nearly 300 representatives from 40 countries will participate at the summit to be held on April 26-27.

Press service of the Caucasian Muslims Office told APA that they have not been informed yet about the Gareginâ€™s visit. â€œThey may inform the Russian side because it conducts negotiations. We have no concrete information about the visitâ€.
