We will sign a bilateral protocol with Saudi Arabia on May 2 to protect the right of Azerbaijani pilgrims during Hajj, to provide their securityâ€, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh told journalists, APA reports. He said they invited the Iraqi government to sign a protocol, but there was still no response. â€œWe canceled the pilgrimages to Iraq, but individual pilgrimage of the citizens is their private right. The government is also recommending the citizens to avoid from the travels to Iraqâ€. Pashazadeh said no quote change was expected for Hajj pilgrimage this year.
