33 re-registered religious communities in Azerbaijan provided with certificates

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. 33 re-registered religious communities more received certificates about the registration at the ceremony organized by the State Committee for Work with religious associations, APA reports. Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations Hidayat Orujov said the number of re-registered religious communities reached 188.

Orujov said the committee received 700 applications for registration so far and there were 534 registered religious communities before the re-registration.

European Jewish Community was also among those who received registration certificates.
