Hidayat Orujov: â€œThe chains used in religious ceremonies are smuggled to Azerbaijanâ€

The committee chairman said public community didnâ€™t accept such cases and the State Customs Committee and other relevant organizations were taking special measures to prevent chain smuggling to the country.

Orujov said called on the leaders of religious communities of the country to be sensitive in such issues. â€œDay of Ashura is a tragedy for whole Muslim world. But some radical forces are trying to use this day for their goals. Some people, beating themselves with chains, were identified last year in the different parts of the country and during the investigation it became clear that they seek other goals. Therefore I call on every Muslim to be more sensitive in such issuesâ€.
