“During the struggle for the liberation of the lands, Pakistan stood by Azerbaijan like a rock, and it will continue to do so," Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said at the military parade in Baku dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War, APA reports.
“My dear brother, under the farsighted leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, my Azerbaijani brothers rose to answer the call of history. The whole world witnessed the glorious Azerbaijani Armed Forces liberating their ancestral lands,” Sharif noted.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan also said that the return of former internally displaced families to Karabakh is inspiring. “The reconstruction efforts in Lachin, Shusha, Khankendi, and all other liberated areas are of phenomenal character,” he added.
