The 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev, is an important international platform presenting Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities to the world’s leading investors, APA reports.
The significance of the Forum is measured not only by the globally important economic issues discussed there, but also by the scale and level of investors coming to Azerbaijan.
This year, Baku has brought together executives of leading companies in the global financial and investment markets, investment and sovereign wealth funds, and international financial institutions. Global investment institutions such as BlackRock/GIP, Franklin Templeton, PGIM, Brookfield, KKR, Ares and Neuberger Berman, as well as the Türkiye Wealth Fund, Singapore’s Temasek and other major institutional investors, are represented in the discussions.
The total assets under management of the institutions participating in the Forum amount to approximately $30 trillion.
Bringing together global investors of this scale in Baku is not only an indication of interest in Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities, but also an important opportunity to showcase the opportunities the country offers to major international capital, expand direct ties and strengthen international investment cooperation.
