Market stability in Azerbaijan allows companies to plan their activities for the long term, Albert Traxler, Sales Director for Eastern Europe and CIS countries at Austria’s PÖRNER, said during a panel discussion held as part of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, APA-Economics reports.
Albert Traxler noted that one of Azerbaijan’s main differences compared with other former Soviet countries in the region is the rapid transformation and stabilization of the market.
“The main difference is that instead of signing one contract, doing the work and leaving the market, you can plan your activities for one year, five years or ten years. You can predict the market for the next decade,” Albert Traxler said.
He added that such a long-term outlook is also important for investors, financial institutions and local manufacturers. It allows local companies to build production capacity, recruit new employees and invest in their training and education.
