Holding such events is important in terms of presenting Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities to international investors, businessman Emin Agalarov told APA on the sidelines of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.
He said that the opening of the event by President Ilham Aliyev and the presentation of the country’s investment opportunities by the head of state further increase the significance of the forum.
“In addition to the energy sector — oil and gas — I think development is also one of the priority areas. When the President himself participates in the opening of such events and speaks about investment opportunities in the country, it highlights the importance of the event,” Agalarov noted.
Agalarov said that he is participating in the forum to present the Sea Breeze Azerbaijan project to international investment funds.
He also highly praised the organization of the forum, saying: “It is excellent.”
