"We attach great importance to our allied relations with Baku," reads a letter of congratulations addressed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.
"I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will continue to systematically enhance productive bilateral cooperation in all areas, as well as coordinate efforts in regional affairs. This undoubtedly serves the interests of our friendly peoples and is on track to strengthen security and stability in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region," Russian President emphasized.
