President of Kazakhstan congratulates Azerbaijani counterpart on occasion of Independence Day

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has addressed a letter of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.

The letter reads:

"Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,

On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and myself, I congratulate you and the entire Azerbaijani nation on your national holiday, Independence Day.

This significant date in the history of your country's sovereign development is a source of special pride for Azerbaijanis. It symbolizes the unity and cohesion of the nation, successful and constructive policies, and a confident movement towards sustainable growth and progress.

The impressive achievements of Azerbaijan in strengthening the foundations of statehood and its international authority imbue this historical date with special symbolism.

Kazakhstan takes the successes of brotherly Azerbaijan with great enthusiasm, and attaches great importance to deepening multifaceted cooperation in the spirit of friendship and mutual support. I am confident that the Kazakh-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and alliance will continue to strengthen for the prosperity of our close peoples.

I wish you, dear Ilham Heydar oglu, further success as a national leader, and the brotherly Azerbaijani people peace, well-being, and progress."
