Subsoil areas designated by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan within a number of non-metallic mineral deposits have been transferred for use to AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (hereinafter – the Company) in order to increase efficiency in the exploitation of such deposits and meet market demand, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree in this regard.
The transferred sites include the “Garadagh I and II” limestone deposits located in the Garadagh district of Baku, the “Guzdak muldası” limestone deposits located in the Garadagh district of Baku and Absheron district, the “Katekhchay I and II” sand-gravel deposits in Zagatala district, the “Balakanchay I and II” sand-gravel deposits in Balakan district, the “Agchay I” sand-gravel deposit in Oghuz district, and the “Imishli” sand-gravel deposit in Imishli district.
