The “Memorandum of Understanding on Statistics between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye” has been approved, APA reports.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, after the Memorandum of Understanding specified in Part 1 comes into force, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan must send a notification to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye confirming that the necessary domestic procedures for the entry into force of the Memorandum of Understanding have been completed.
Note that the memorandum was signed in Ankara on October 3 of this year.
