De facto peace has been achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his address at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, APA reports.
The minister noted that following the Washington Peace Summit, the peace agenda has already begun to produce tangible economic results. In this regard, he highlighted the unilateral lifting of transit restrictions and the establishment of bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and Armenia in certain areas.
The diplomat also emphasized the importance of removing the remaining obstacles to the signing of the Peace Agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
