According to him, new Director General will be elected at a meeting of Public TV Broadcasting Board tomorrow: “According to the law on the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, NTRC maintains legal control over the activity of the television. There is a relevant paragraph in the law. We are exercising legal control basing on this paragraph. But the election will be held by Public TV Broadcasting Board.”
Four – Shafiyev Shamil Ali, Guliyev Jamil Elshad, Mustafayev Nijat Gafur amd Huseynov Emin Rafik submitted applications for the post of Director General of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
The list of the candidates has been submitted to the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company for holding election in accordance with articles 20.1.3 and 21.1 of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on “Public Television and Radio Broadcasting”.
