APA reports that more than 200 media chiefs from the CIS countries, Georgia and Belarus will attend the forum. APA General Director Nurshan Guliyev will also attend the meeting.
The participants will discuss the prospect of integration projects, mutual activity of mass media and society and the structure of a new media and features of its activity in the post-soviet region. The forum will be continued with the sessions, where plenary meeting and discussions will be held. The winners of the best media project for 2012 will be also awarded. The participants are expected to meet with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The first European and Asian Media Forum was held in 2006.
