The sale of tractors and the import of their spare parts will be exempt from value-added tax (VAT) for six years starting January 1, 2027, APA reports.
This is reflected in a proposed amendment to the Tax Code.
According to the draft, in order to localize the production of agricultural tractors and support domestic production, it is proposed to exempt the sale of agricultural tractors and the import of their spare parts from VAT for six years starting January 1, 2027. In addition, under a proposed amendment to the Law "On Customs Tariff," it is proposed to exempt the import of spare parts for agricultural tractors from customs duties for six years starting January 1, 2027, based on a supporting document issued by the Ministry of Economy.
