"The Jubilee medal is intended for those who have made contributions to journalism," Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, said at an event organized by the Media Development Agency on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the National Press, APA reports.
The presidential aide said that today's event took into account representatives of both the young and older generations of Azerbaijani journalism: "This medal is intended for those who have served in journalism. We will soon award our colleagues accordingly."
