Former California governor and Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was attacked by a fan Saturday night while attending an event in South Africa.

The former bodybuilding champion was promoting his Arnold Classic Africa Festival in Johannesburg when the fan ran and kicked him in the back.

In the video which has since gone viral, Schwarzenegger was seen standing with others watching a rope skipping game, before a man ran up to him and jump kicked him from the back.

The 71-year-old actor was pushed by the kick into a crowd before guards tackled the mischievous fan and pressed him on the ground.

The naughty fan was heard shouting in the video: “Help me, please. I need a Lamborghini.”

In a tweet, the actor assured concerned fans he was safe after the incident.

“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat,” he wrote on his official account.

Organizers of the Arnold Classic Africa Festival said Sunday the former actor has no intention of suing the attacker whom police say in past has orchestrated similar attacks.

Arnold Classic Africa Festival is an annual multi-sport event that holds sporting competitions in different countries showcasing professional and amateur bodybuilding and combat sports.
