Media literacy is one of the most important skills of the 21st century. Because you may read and write, but not understand what you read correctly, Shafag Mehraliyeva, Faculty member of the Communication and Digital Media Program at the ADA University said during her speech at the III Shusha Global Media Forum dedicated to the topic "Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI", APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.

She mentioned that media literacy is not only the ability to receive information, but also to interpret it, discuss it, and analyze it correctly in an atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect: "If these issues are instilled starting from the classroom, future generations will be stronger and more united in the information environment. Currently, the weakness of both unity and healthy critical thinking skills in the information environment is a serious problem."

She noted that if information is not deeply analyzed, it can cause psychological distress among young people.
